David James Henry is an American screenwriter and actor living in Los Angeles, California. He was raised in a small farming town in the Central Valley of California.
In 2018, David moved to Los Angeles to attend film school. While pursuing his education, he worked on many sets - student and professional.
David graduated in June 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Television, with an Emphasis in Writing.
He has worked many jobs and gigs since then, in television, film, and live events, with work in development, pre-production, and principal production.
In 2024, he was hired to become the Head Writer for Tinker the Robot. That same year, his first published short story, THE SECOND OF MAY, was picked for publication in the debut volume of Panopticon.
David is a versatile writer of speculative fiction, whose work spans historical fiction, science fiction, and beyond. He is available for work as a script consultant and enjoys collaborating on a wide range of projects, particularly those featuring unique, unconventional characters in unexpected situations. His broad creative range ensures that he can adapt to and enhance a variety of storytelling styles and genres, while complementing the style and voice of those he works with.
With extensive experience in consulting for drama, comedy, and especially sketch comedy, David has served as a consultant and coverage reader across all genres. His ability to understand and contribute to diverse narrative forms makes him a valuable asset to any project.
